Synopsis
This is a large Baby Gas Mask in which the whole baby would have been placed into, maybe a young infant of around several months old. The bottom would be tied shut with the straps and a canister would be attached to the bottom and someone would have pumped the air in through the air pump. Built and supplied to British familys during the War in 1939, in case of a Gas Attack. A nice relic of the War over Britain for any collector of Military/Homefront Memorabilia.
