Description
The book has green cloth boards with gold gilt thistle to front cover and gold gilt to the spine. The cover has some slight shelf ware, slightly bumped corners and a small nick to the bottom of the spine. Otherwie the cover is good. The front innerboard has a library sticker to it, no other library marks in book. With Publishers erreta band to title cover. The hinges and endpapers are in good order. There are 96 pages, all the pages are in good clean condition throughout the book.

Such poems as: Sonnet - On Vimy Ridge - Dead Youth - To a Private Soldier - To a Dead Soldier - In No Mans Land - Snow in France - Oxford From The Trenches etc.. The book gives an acciunt of Life in The Trenches through poems written at the time. The book is undated but this is a 3rd edition and research indicates around 1918-19. A fine copy of this Rare and Scarce book..
