This is a large book with pictorial front cover. The cover is brown cloth boards with black title writing and inlay. Gold gilt figure to front cover. The cover has shelf ware to it, especially around the edges, spine and corners.Back cover has surface marks. Top part of spine missing small piece and at bottom. Movement to inner front board. The contents however are in good condition. The 208 pages are in good condition as are the plates. This is Division One of a 8 division set. The binding is tight and square. These are very RARE book from 1875 and where only issued to subscribers of the book.
