Hardback with blue hardcard cover. The cover has some slight shelf ware, otherwise the cover is good. With unclipped dust-jacket. The jacket has some minor ware to the top of the cover, the rest is in good order. The hinges, innerboards and endappers are in good condition. There are 64 pages of which all are in good clean condition throughout.The binding is tight and square.

Synopsis

1914 and Other Poems by Rupert Brooke. Rupert Brooke was born 3rd August 1887 and a Fellows of Kings 1913. Sub-Lieutenant, R.N.V.R. September 1914, then went on the Antwerp Expedition, October 1914. He sailed with British Mediterranean Expendtionary Force 28th Febuary 1915. He then died in the Aegean on 23rd April 1915. These are some off the poems he wrote during his time. The Soldier and The Dead being his most well known. This is a fine collection of World War One Poetry from 1914.
